The speed of the take over by the Taliban of Afghanistan had to be in some capacity a people movement. The Army of the county surrendering across their nation without as much as minor battle much less a major one speaks volumes. The American army which did so much of the fighting in both Afghanistan and Vietnam left a paper Armies without the courage to fight and win.

I was and am a believer that we needed to leave this part of the world, I made a post a couple of years ago that the Taliban would most likely take over the country upon our leaving. I didn’t believe it would do it so quickly. The deaths, we are seeing, are minor compared to what we would have seen had the Afghanistan army decided to fight. President Biden now will embark on a bombing mission of help to another portion of Afghanistan soldiers fighting the Taliban, in a never-ending conflict. Dropping bombs that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on almost worthless targets.

Women will suffer the most, many ladies will become wives to Taliban soldiers that can’t read or write. The lives of women will revert back to before our invasion as mostly property.

FREEDOM, isn’t free. American soldiers that have led the fight for our nation and others, have proven themselves in battle. The weapons of war have no use if the armies that bring them to battle have no courage. GOD BLESS
