I guess some folks believe they can do anything and it is ok. Telling the people of Mississippi, that, he as Governor would support the people voting on the state flag of 1894. To only be discovered he had no intention of supporting anything southern heritage ,much less the flag. I had a State Senator on the coast I met the other day,one of the ones, I believed that changed his mind on the vote. Had the Governor stood strong on his promise, hey!! had he saddle his horse and rode to explain his promise to these State Senators, he had made, to some of the folks that voted for him, who knows he might have looked like a southerner. We won the election for a Republican Governor, in fact we won complete control of the state and lost the flag from the 3 amigos Tate, Gunn and Hosemann. The Patroits of Mississippi realized many of the top elected men in Mississippi came up through the ranks and surly are not conservitives ,at best, half ass progessive polticans, at worse bought and paid for.

As a Republican that believes in the heritage of our state and the people. No one asked the Governor or any of the Republicans to give them anything but the right to vote as the Democrats did in 2001. It is ironic that the very people that call themselves conservatives are the ones that removed the flag of 1894 without a vote. This same group denied the vote that was done legally to have medical Marijuana. We or at least the ones that pay attention noticed that on the flag issue they made time, to have it removed, on the medical marijuana they let it die.

WE THE PEOPLE OWN THE STATE, BUT THEY THE POLITICIANS DISAGREE ,WE MUST NOT GO AWAY QUITELY
