Jews

I had a Jewish customer a few years back that made me think of our situation as Christians today. He told a story of his father not leaving Germany because he believed his God would protect their family, the German government had laws they had to follow, so German Jews were saved. The man spoke of his father in disgust when they had the money to leave, and they didn’t. He said prayer would protect them, and it didn’t; the Jewish customer watched in horror the death of his entire family, except himself. He spoke of the walking into the railcar, some believing they to die, others believe in working camps, but the conditions were unbearable. He said Jews of the world never again will stay idle as they are being destroyed. I see the Socialist Democratic Party in this same light; they attack Christianity except when it fits their narrative. I read and see Christians believing God is to protect all, that nothing needs to be done, ask a Jew, God helps those that help themselves.
