In the middle of my run for US Senate seat against Wicker 2018 for the first time in my life the Mississippi government decides to audit me and my company. I find out later it usually only takes a few days mine lasted months. I didn’t put much thought on this at the time, but just as bad timing.

I realized after a few weeks after announcing that paying money into the party and running for office that isn’t sanction by the establishment are two different things. The amount of help in my run was at the end of my arm, which I had noted to all staff members involved not to expect help in any fashion, it want be forth coming. This didn’t stop many staffers from trying to arrange and set up debates and meetings with politicians in power. I finally had to get angry and tell them to concentrate on voters the politicians are not going to get me elect it will be the citizens.

I knew taking on the establishment was not going to be easy and as a non-politician they were basically going to ignore me as much as possible. WLOX as I was paying them thousands of dollars in advertising for my Bussiness but on the news they would call me the other candidate ,not my name. It wasn’t until I went down and told them I was pulling my ads did they happen to discover my name. Newspapers all over Mississippi are paid thousand upon thousand of dollars for ads by establishment political parties as a outsider looking for space and fairness not there.

In my search for victory I was informed that I could have equal time on radio and Television I decided to make this my first big break. In a meeting I told everyone that wanted to call each station across Mississippi and demand television and radio time. Instead of coming in as a dove I came as demanding my fair time,it worked. In matter of 7 days had 8 television stations and 8 radio stations 6 of them remote 2 not. The task now was in seven days I had to be everywhere almost at once, We went to Memphis to Gulfport to Meridian to Greenwood back down to channel 25 Gulfport up to Jackson to Hattiesburg I in 7 days missed not one.

This in turn open up the Republican clubs and I was off to the races. Gulfport my first real invite to speak came from their then President Dan Carr. I remember walking into this gorgeous sittings I think around 10 stories up looking over the Port of Gulfport, truly a beautiful site. My second in command Josh my grandson ,I guess reading from a speech isn’t going to happen? No. I mention to Josh this is what a man must do if he believes his country future and the very lives of our future children are at stake. I realized that this was mostly window dressing that I was in the heart of the establishment. I had went to some other Republican meetings uninvited and was given 5 minutes of talk time.

As we know I lost, but did gained 17.7 percent of the vote coming off the couch I once rounded it to almost 20 percent but some in the establishment went nuts. The future for Mississippi is to ride the horses that we have been riding for years are make wholesale changes. We must consider the spending the federal government is doing at this moment in time will bankrupt the nation. This spending couldn’t have happened without support of republicans. Our Senator Wicker is as liberal as any democrat elected except Bernie. Our state government believes they alone have all the answers and at this point in time they may. Not standing up against federal mandates , mask dates, may set well with many but most freedom loving people it will never be accepted.

I have no illusions of easily pulling the state to another direction, it will be the will of the people. Truth seems to be from another time and place, if ever. I recall as a wounded 18 year old soldier in the middle of a ongoing fire fight it didn’t look good, my chances were worse then my run 2018 ,but I didn’t give in or up, the cost is to great. My grandkids future may ride on me or men like me that are willing to stand against the establishment both democrat or Republican that can’t find the will to lead.

We must all listen to what the left is saying , they are the ones screaming white supremacy from a nation of mostly white people, that clearly we are not. Allowing uncontrolled immigrants to flood the nation will prove our undoing in the near future. Uncontrolled spending is all ready causing inflation to sore. Our government as did with others that lost control will fall, lets wake up and remove men that either by design or fear can’t lead us into another direction, this doesn’t mean these men ill, not all men can lead in times of great upheaval.

In closing ,I will not stop my fight to save my future generations that I will never know. I would ask you to look at the spending these politicians are doing that was never done before, look at the uncontrolled immigration , remember the land we live on didn’t make us the greatest country on earth it was the people, we need another Jefferson, Franklin, Madison and others to rise.
