I am reading some posts that blame Ukraine as much as Russia for the situation they are in from the invasion. Evil intentions that history has shown in the past by this evil ruler of Russia have been put forth for the world to see now. Had the world stopped Putin in Georgia or stopped him in Crimea, the Ukraine invasion would have never happened. History is not to be ignored because it can save the future if men are smart enough to remember or have statues of great honor or regret to remind. History erased is lost; it is hidden and not available to reinvent itself for repeat.

History lesson one; Hitler’s invasions false claims of territorial rights and peoples belonging to the greater Germany, but all along, he intended to build an Empire for the Third Reich. He envisioned rightly that peace-loving people of the world would not take the chance of war. Putin, a disciple of the failing days of the Soviet Union’s, lost empire, longs for the day to reunite the lost glory. He, at 72 (my age), cares little about world opinions; he isn’t afraid of death, he is fearful of failure, he would take the world in a nuclear onslaught to avoid defeat. His greatest enemy is himself, and the western world’s most excellent chance to defeat him without great blood shed, is from within.
