Why did the South fight to leave the “UNION,” why did blacks fight for “equality” or Ukraine to stay as an independent “NATION,” the word is “FREEDOM.” Years ago, my mother had seven kids, the youngest four years old, the oldest myself at thirteen, escaped from an abusive, violent relationship to gain freedom after many years. The cost to her was years of no contact with her kids, but to gain freedom, to breath air that was indeed hers alone, was worth the loss to her. People that have lost their freedoms or have never had freedom, are willing to die for the chance of “FREEDOM.”
The “Flag of 1894” our three “Amigos” in Jackson see the flag as a symbol of hate, they wrongly represent it as our past parents and grand parents to be racist biggets , unworthy Mississippians. They see themselves to be the shinning light to vanquish this evil flag of our past grandparents and parents.
The young men answered the call for ‘FREEDOM” from OLE MISS rightly or wrongly to fight for the state and the newly formed nation; many fell in battle, the statue erected in their “HONOR” to be disgraced removed and covered up should be re-installed in its original place of “HONOR.” Devaluing such great men of history will pave the way for cowards to hide when the time to defend or fight for “FREEDOM.”
These Mississipians in a failed attempt for “FREEDOM” not unlike the war I fought in “Vietnam”, a losing cause. The hatred dsiplayed against me and men like myself ,left a lasting impression of disgust ,deep in my belly. Unlike these cowards I will stand as did when I went to war or as I did in my run for the US Senate race in 2018, on my southern and American pride of greatness.
REMEMBER THESE MEN HATE AND HAVE REMOVED STATUES OF MANY GREAT MEN OF HISTORY, (WHITEMEN) DISGRACFULY, THEY ARE COWARDS AND WE MUST STAND.
