END THE WAR

The conflict we are witnessing now has no real meaning. Not one thing will be accomplished except death of both sides soldiers and innocent Ukrainian citizens.

When I was a combat soldier in Vietnam at 18, I realized that wars are crazy. We talk of freeing people that didn’t know freedom even existed. The people in the countryside cultivating their rice were their entire world—they were pawns in the war that seemed at the time to have no end. As was proven, peace was all that was needed. The lesson we learned from this war is that bullets and bombs only kill; it took leaders to decide to end. The wasted lives of soldiers that I served with that didn’t die, and spent a lifetime recovering from the horrors of war, were pale compared to the enemy soldiers and innocent civilians.

As we sleep at night with no sounds of bombs exploding and bullets lighting up the night sky, it is easy to feel no pain. Some of us that were part of the killing of both enemy soldiers and civilians realize it is very real. Picking up a child that you were responsible for indirectly or directly has no meaning for the child, it is just as injured or dead. Ask yourself since world war two what have any of these wars accomplished?

I have a novel approach to ending this useless war. Completely stop trade with Russia and isolate the Russians to the point of nothingness from the world. Paying Russia for energy and supplying billions to Ukraine in weapons is “insanity” at the highest level. Stop the flow of arms to the Ukraine that cost billions of dollars but will never end the war; leaders will. The talk of Ukraine pushing the Russians back with new weapons will never end, and the death will mount. Beg them for peace or let both sides run out of bombs and bullets.

NEVER BE AFRAID OF PROPOSING PEACE , WAR TO THE UNKNOWING IS ONLY A GAME
