Republican Party Mississippi

We have come to a particular time in our state; the capital city Jackson, is poorly run democrat city, crime-ridden, with little hope for the future but handouts from the state and federal government. I applaud the Governor for handling the water situation necessary for the citizens of Jackson. Still, when citizens elect leaders that can’t lead, the outcome will always be the same failure.

The coming election in 2024 may end up being direction-changing. The party has excused the lie on the election of the flag of 1894, but many folks have a fire burning deep inside that may prove hard to put out. I think it is pretty easy to see that our LG is not A republican at all; he is bluer than blue but holds the politicians in the palm of his hands, but not the voters at all, as Congressman Palazzo discovered. Incredibly, the voter turnout in the 4th district was typical, too low, but the same people that gave Palazzo a “68 percent” win two years before, sent him home, which is a telling sign to scare elected politicians.

Mississippians across the state I talk with all seem to have the same mindset (different from our elected officials in Washington, DC). When do we stop the nation’s debt before it is too late? Most people with at least half-brain realizes our forefathers that ran the government before the last 42 years, with less than a trillion in debt, knew that uncontrolled debt (33 trillion)and growing more each year, isn’t sustainable and will, in the end, cause the country to fail. Congressman Guest i don’t believe got the message in this last election that there is a new wind in the air not from the new voters but from the voters that can be counted on each elections.

The nation’s future is unsure, and the integrity of the elections is highly doubted both state-wide and nationally. Accurate or not, people believe their votes have no consequences and may not count at all if illegally done. “I would have never believed the statewide elections to be tampered with until the election of the “magnola flag” that winning number has given me great doubts myself. “

My entry into Mississippi politics has only been since 2018; before that, I voted and screamed at the television, listening to politicians eroding my freedoms. I have been informed not by so many words but actions the Republican establishment leaders and there minnons that there is no place for dissension amongst the ranks. I follow a different flag, one that realizes winning with lie, isnt truly winning at all.

Sixty-two years before a sitting Mississippi federal politician was defeated in the primaries. Another politician had a great scare that brought millions of dollars to the state to save from a challenger that was broke. Listening to republican voters, they are not pleased. The flag issue was done in record time, but removing the income tax may take years and will take even more years to be initiated; the poor, the old, and the hard-working need not be paying grocery taxes, and old folks need not be paying taxes on the property after let’s say 70. ……to be continued
