I must be hitting home with many on the other side attacking me as if I was the enemy. I find that if we are going to save the nation from these crazies, it will have to be words that lead the way. I get disgusted at times, as if my words are falling on deaf ears but today proved that I am not alone. Our grandkids of the future in heaven or if only in our minds, looking for some victories. The time I have left on earth will be to defend the constitution that has been kicked, twisted, and lied about but is still the road map we must follow for peace and prosperity

I spent most of my life working, coaching, and raising my family, never stepping over the line of safety. In 2017 I woke one morning realizing we were in big trouble. I listened to US Senator Wicker one night, and for the first time, I realized he wasn’t a conservative, and he was, at best, a lukewarm republican. At 3 am, I called my grandson in New Orleans and told him to get me papers for running against Wicker. The following day he called at 8 am, telling me he had a dream that I called him about running for the US Senate, no dream.

I was told by the establishment that I was wasting my time and that I and my 50 thousand would get one or two percent of the vote if I were lucky. My brother Geno broke it down that if I got 1 or 2 percent, I should be proud; if I was smart enough to get 5 %, I was a genius. I got right at 18 percent of the vote, off the couch, with four months of running time, with no name recognition at all. No one had gotten that percentage of votes against Wicker. Of course, after the election, establishment telss me it was expected for me to do that good, nuts.

My next adventure in politics was with my brother Carl running against 12 years in office Congressman Palazzo. He, Palazzo, had won less than two years before with 71 percent of the vote. We attacked and sent our findings to congress, and they had the FBI investigate and turn over their findings to the congress committee, which voted 6 to 0 )he was dirty. My brother didn’t win against six other candidates, but we removed a sitting congressman, which hadn’t happened in a primary in 62 years.

We must not be afraid to win; we have spineless politicians who believe that lies are typical for politicians to do; we must correct and remove these men and women from power. If they lie, how do you know when they are not lying? Conservatives, Patriots, and Republicans that follow our republican platform must stand to help make Mississippi and the Nation Bright Red.
