It is strange the ship we call, Our Capitol of Mississippi. It has no moral compass, no direction, no sensible leadership from the state or local governments. If left to die,on it’s own,the earth would reclaim it into what it was before man. The election of a new mayor or governor will likely not change the insane killings and crime.
The balance of police power and the criminal’s ability to survive the consequences of their actions is always tedious at best. We don’t truly have crime problem we have a politician problem. We have laws that protect but have lost site that some men are pure evil. When laws and crime are ignored to the point of insanity, we create more evil men to release into society without care for human life, even their own.
We are sold a bill of goods that we are gaining more criminals, but “NO” we are recycling the same violent men repeatedly as if we have lost our minds. The victims are now supposed to be the ones that take thier time and care to respond to the actions against the criminals, and who can guess the known intentions of any criminal. We, as the innocent, are to take the time to evaluate and determine what is going on inside the mind of these primarily violent men. As a combat soldier with a soft heart, I was taught quickly a live predator is extremely, very dangerous.
Correcting bad human behavior comes at a high cost; even in a small family structure, one bad apple makes the whole not work. The cost to right the ship will be measured in the blood itself; there are no easy answers, no easy fixes. Policing the un-policeable is like driving at full speed into a cement wall.
The earth could care less about man; it was here long before man made his first footprint and will be here long after the impression is gone. Man is not even a marker of time to the blue planet. All societies of the past have been reclaimed by mother earth and will be in the future.
