Each election, the newspapers across the state proclaim a democrat is within striking distance of an incumbent Republican or challenger. The great newspapers of Mississippi are claiming again that a democrat for governor is within striking distance of Governor Tate Reeves. I am not supporting Governor Reeves, but the only way a democrat could win is if all the Republicans stayed home; that will not happen. I believe if they are polling everyone in Jackson they may be on to something, but if the past has any light for the future,the election will go to a Republican.

“When electing men to lead. ”I have stated shooting my foot to cure a brain disorder surely doesn’t make sense, my dislike of a candidate has boundaries ; electing a democrat in today’s world is “suicide.”The two parties may have men close to the same beliefs but only the republican party, if following their platform, has a chance for redemption. The democrats are following a different path. The governor and the LG are elected into the republican party but are purple, if not blue, in their beliefs. Both men, as LG’s installed mostly democrats in many important positions of power, they are genuinely not red republicans. Had the people of Mississippi wanted democrats to lead critical committees, they would have elected the democrat party to lead the state.
