Term limits will take a while but removing professional politicians can be done by going to the primaries and voting for challengers. This movement has to be sold to the people. The leaders of the different movements in the state have different agendas and many are tied to the idea that professional politicians give them a road to power even though it is very narrow.

Common sense tells us that power corrupts; the longer in office ,the more power, the greater the corruption. We remove these men that have done nothing in the world but be professional politicians; we can maybe gain some authentic leadership in the state and the nation. We must remember that these professional politicians don’t allow elected politicians to guide the state or the nation, they are primarily only needed for their vote and even with that,they are pressured and demanded to vote as the leadership demands. We just witnessed with the 20 US congressmen and women.

The removal of professional politicians could be a death blow to lobbyists. The greatest gift next to term limits and or reduction of lifelong politicians would be to remove the insane amount of money given to elected politicians by lobbyists. Common sense again tells us that industries and people give no cash without a kiss in return, only human nature.

Even if you are not interested in politics, where is the nation and state headed? The founding fathers were not fond of parties that controlled elected members of congress, which made only a few well-placed politicians to lead the entire show. Change is needed; the people are the only vehicle to produce change, immediately.

Remember Rome failed because of thier Senate, we may fail because of our congress, Rome didn’t have the power of the American citizens.
