I watched the video 3 times and read some of the reports. I have not found a defensible police position. The victim seems to realize right off the bat something is wrong. I have no way of knowing, but it seems more than just a beating. It looks like a pack of wild animals attacking weak prey, and everyone gets their piece of the kill.

I read from some say all he had to do was obey the police; I wouldn’t know for sure when fear took over good sense, but at some time, the need for flight had to kick in. Self-preservation takes over and lastly, the knowledge of death arrives with needing his mother’s love. (i witnessed the want of mother many times with the dying in Vietnam)

I will be on record that I believe this was purposely killing; I don’t know all the reasons for it, but I would hope that some humanity would have overtaken one of the officers that would have said enough.

One person can make such a significant difference, but courage and love of fellow man must be in the heart.
