Newly elected congressman Mike Ezell joined the congress with welcoming arms stretched out and became a good vote for the establishment from day one. I like Mike Ezell, but as a conservative fighter for America, he is not and never will be the fighting leader we had a chance to elect.
Future “LG Chris McDaniel”is a prime example of a leader that stands on some principles, but even with that said, he is still a politician. I always remind people that getting elected and getting support from others comes at a cost. We can’t be against everyone and hope to get elected to power. There comes a time to get conservative congressional votes; you must compromise, attacking everyone. You might as well stay home.
I have not liked the new movement by conservative groups backing down from Governor Tate Reeve’s lies to “patriots” that he would support a vote for the flag of 1894 by the people. Tate, Hosemann, and Gunn (three amigos)realized the greatest gift they had in the “coup”of the flag of 1894 would be their power (if elected)and time. Power makes lesser men discount lies and deceits as if they were candy. We are reminded that they realize time heals most all wounds. If the patriots stay home ,as they do in all primaries, the state will get what it deserves, Governor Tate Reeves and LG Hosemann.
No single politician can lead by themselves; the primaries are where we, the citizens of our party, can rid ourselves of men with whom issues or disagreements. Sometimes , we won’t win with our support, but the ideals of our party and platform give us the ability to lead the nation if elected the next cycle. Remember, these incumbents would not be leading Mississippi had the entire conservative patriot base had stood as one.
The time to lead and remove unwanted politicians is in the primaries; this is where you convince your friends, family, and others to stand, crying and screaming not to support the winners of the party is insane.
