There is no better time than the coming September to call in all the marbles and not fund the government without drastic cuts in spending. The Republicans must show up to the fight to give America a fighting chance in the future. As in any battle now or later there will be a cost. Half the nation doesn’t work and doesn’t pay but a small percentage of the taxes have the voting power to make the laws that increase the taxes of the people that do pay.

We had a glimps of future with the Republicans electing senator McCarthy to rule the Senate. The twenty stood tall until some changes were made. We need to demand a plan for a balanced budget in 5 years and to cut spending drasticlly and right the sinking ship. We in Mississippi have no Senators or Congressmen to lead the fight. Our only hope is that the twenty Senators from other parts of the nation from the last battle have encouraged others to join their ranks. We have elected men and women in Mississippi in the federal government who cannot lead a fight, and all are part of the problem. When you vote to spend our childrens future you are an enemy of the state and the country, not a conservitive , republican or patriot American.

The Democrats are leading the nation to ruination with the help of many Republicans that have been helped to power for this very purpose. Senator Wicker may be the bluest Senator in the republican party he has never led a battle in his life. I had a thought come to my mind as an 18-year-old soldier fighting 24 firefights in a year. Each fight was different, and your life was on the line; this is how I feel about the nation. The election of Congressman Mike Ezell from the 4th district was another disappointment; no, he isn’t a bad man, but he will vote and be part of the Republican and Democrat establishment as most other Mississippi politicians.

The battle to save the nation I had hoped would come from electing strong men to power; we, as citizens are willing to accept weak leaders. It pains me to see Congress work so well with the Democrats voting as one person most of the time. Republicans, the only viable hope to save America, looks like a wimpy kid.
