(I was honored to lead the pledge of allegiance to the flag in opening ceremonies, the time to right the wrongs that have been placed on Mississippi must start with new leadership)
The time for changing Mississippi has arrived; Chris spoke on things that have mattered to many Mississippians and me for a while. State income tax needs to be eliminated. “NO” taxes on groceries ! We can no longer count on the government and many elected politicians to stand against the “WOKE” bunch on parents’ rights, and religious freedoms. Lieutenant Governor Hosemann voted against all these measures. Hosemann reminds me of the “Bible” reading of Judas , Hosemann wears the “R” before his name but was not able to hide his true identity as a full fledged democrat. Nameing 13 of the 16 chairmenships to Democrats alone proves this man is no Republican. (had he done this as a elected democrat for republicans he would have been tarred and feathered and run out of Jackson by democrats for sure).
My time around the state I listen to folks talk of Mississippi needing a conservitive leaders that can stand against these RINO’s and “woke” bunch. We have the chance to prove we can. Staying at home and not voting will guarantee that nothing changes in the primary election. The November elections will have no meaning if you miss the primary because our man will not be there, (you must vote in primary).
Mississippi conservatives and patriots have watched as politicians have removed the “flag” of 1894 from the state led by lieutenant governor Hosemann, we have watched as they removed and covered up the statues of war heroes at Ole Miss, we witnessed all our freedoms taken from us during the pandemic religious and otherwise, many in the state were forced to take the vaccination or lose their jobs.
In closing, I don’t know what it takes to make people stand and fight. Saying you won’t go to the polls and vote, most surely want help. But what will help is talking to your friends and neighbors, bringing up Chris McDaniel name in conversations with others, and standing as a proud patriot American, a true Mississipian, will remove the cancer we call LG Hosemann.
( One time when all seem to be lost in a firefight, i was asked should we surrender and live, my answer was quick living without freedom isn’t living at all)
