WITCHER FOR GOVERNOR

I realize trying to take a seat of a sitting politician is a very, very tuff job. My brother and I spent two years getting Congressman Palazzo out of office, the first time it has happened to a sitting congressman in Mississippi in 62 years. No easy tasked to say the least. Removing (G) Tate Reeves will have many challenges being I doubt he will debate anyone until the primary is over; this is standard procedure with incumbents.

The people of the state own and have the last word on what happens in the state, not the state owning and ruling as Kings. Medical marijuana proved to any Mississippian that the State elected leaders would not allow the people to possess the power to override or go around the forces that are in charge. The flag issue with two flags would have become almost a non-issue had they allowed the people of Mississippi to vote on two different flags; guess what? They don’t trust or want Mississippians to think they have the power to decide laws or change laws.

When men and women were standing in the cold demanding their freedom of choice be vaccinated, with their livelihoods on the line, where were our state leaders? I was there; Doctor Witcher was there. The freedom comes with chances and decisions that have religious and humane consequences.

(My thoughts) Jackson and water, it is becoming something of a laughing stock across America. The adding the monies given to the city to maintain and deliver water to it citizens has been enough to have adequate system. Democrats that have been running the city before the advent of humans, have sqaunder the money, and worse their collection of fees from citizens is dismal. Throwing money into a deep well that has no end must not happen. If Mississipian money is to be spent it needs the control of the water department.

I would hope Doc Witcher, would attack violent crime across Mississippi, (including Jackson the hot bed of crime) Violent criminals need to spend at least 90 percent of their time behind bars. We need camps that house the younger non-violent men that learn trades and discipline. Idle hands and minds even in the military are discouraged.

In closing, the issues are many. We have witnessed what the sitting Governor would do in a given situation, like the flag issue of 1894 when he said on television he would support the people’s vote, something he indeed never intended to do; it took him some time to lead on the pandemic. Closing the parks and beaches across the state, wearing masks in a restaurant, and removing them while eating was insane; we are a sovereign state amongst 49 other states, and our elected leaders lead our state, not the federal government.
