the silver lining,

Delbert Hosemann may be the difference in the Governor’s race in supporting another Democrat, Presley. Many of my conservative friends have all lost hope. I was asked this morning what was my thoughts on the coming election in November. The worst scenario would be a Presley and Hosemann leadership of the state. The Senators on the coast are genuinely supporting Hosemann, which would mean they are supporting Presley if he is elected over Tate. It would be strange for the Democrats to lose the elections but are running a Republican state.

It is so hard for me to believe that just looking at the failed leadership of Jackson, Mississippi and Delbert a true Democrat wins the Republican primary. I keep hearing these leaders talking about the largest tax cut in Mississippi history ,they fail to mention the insane debt of the nation from one trillion to 32 trillion in just a few years. If there was no cut “now” there will never be one.

I have friends that strongly believe Democrats voted for Delbert in the primaries. It is not illegal. I would bet a million dollars that many Democrats crossed over to ensure victory. I wonder, in cities like Jackson has anyone paid any attention with no Republicans around in 50 years? What goes on?

The silver lining is years away, at least 5. We have witnessed in the last few years the removal of a war hero’s statue from a place of honor to be covered with a tarp in the back hidden away—this, my friends in the future, may be a rallying call. These men, as I was, were called to protect the state and country and do not desire the humiliation that the state’s leadership has done to them. The removal of the flag of 1894 without a vote was pure cowards. The power in the state isn’t conservative, as the federal politicians of Mississippi are not true conservatives in their voting. The politicians see no storm as they raise the debt; they know no future for tomorrow while spending money that will never be paid back. The most significant part we conservatives may play is when the chaos ensues.

I have no answers; the Democrats have taken the upper hand in state and federal Mississippi politicians. The votes to increse debt will not stop until failure. GOD BLESS
