Many criticized me for teaching my kids to read Before The age of 5, multiply, And divide before they were six years old. When I coached basketball, football, and baseball, we always won championships. People used to tell me that I took it personally, that the titles had no meaning. But years ahead, I have kids that have made things of themselves and have come back to me saying some of their proudest memories of being a kid was having a hard Coach that put many demands on them for excellence. I’m not a trophy for each kid type of person; I believe that is counterproductive. We as a country need to get back to the basics of boys being tough and throw out these video games and start making men out of these young boys.
