Many, if not most, of our young people who are educated by President Jimmy Carter’s 1980 Department of Education in Wahington, DC, are the most uneducated young people the nation has ever developed. The one-room schoolhouses gave children better knowledge with almost no money than millions spent on this modern education. The new department has failed education.

We have witnessed the norms of society and the teaching of our nation’s History; our states are not necessary. I am shocked at the new kids graduating, not knowing the nation’s geography, much less the world’s.

History is now a lost cause for many, and all History is taught in the negativity of the founding fathers and the men who made the nation the strongest nation on earth. Many, if not most, teachings speak of the failures as if, somehow, had these kids been born in another country, they would have been better off. However, the older generation was better off because of what the nation taught before the Department of Education. Plus, they have not been privy to the system that now teaches them what the future holds for them not being educated. How do you lead forward when you have no education from the past. Young people think of many new great ideas of the present as new, only to discover that they were used in the past every day. History taught is History that does not need to be repeated.
